A new type of internet is being developped... Will it be the future?
checkout freenet.sourceforge.net, it's quite interesting.

This wouldn't quite constitue a new internet, just a new service on an already
existing internet.  It's more of an alternative to the web.  As much as I like
the idea of decentralized information, it's just not feasible right now. 
Maybe some day, it will be, but without an indexing system (not a search
system, but a menu of available options, automatically updating, categorized,
etc.), I don't think it will interest many users, except of course the
underground community...
