I have a #1, but unfortunately, not going to trade it.. plan to sell..
maybe.. someday. It's in fairly good condition.

Interestingly enough, I picked up issues #1-3 because the art was
fantastic and the storyline grabbed me. I failed to stay interested,
however, because I don't buy into the whole "fall of a superhero"
concept.

It is also sad that Todd McFarlane is only doing collectible figures
now. He simply refuses to do comics anymore. This from the man that
really revamped Spiderman.

Well. I wouldn't say he revamped Spider-Man...

I refuse to ever buy anything from McFarlane
because of how he tries to cheat
people who have worked for him, mainly
Neil Gaiman.

Yes, oh master. I suppose you are right.

Neil Gaiman worked for McFarlane? Interesting.. so what's Gaiman been
doing since he gave up Sandman?

I appreciate being called master but assure you it is not
necessary.

Gaiman did some limited work for McFarlane.
He wrote Spawn 9 or 10 I think, where the
character of Angela first appeared and
McFarlae didn't pay Gaiman for every time he used the
character after that. He also told Gaiman he could have the
rights to Miracle Man but then went back on his word.

Since Gaiman stopped writing DSandman, a finite series, he has written a few
novels and doing work for the Comic Book Legal Defense Fund.

I apologize for the choppiness of this but the telnet program I use doesn't let
me see what I type as I type it for some reason.
