What do you think of the Marvel Knights series?

I checked out Daredevil #4, and the story was excellent. I checked with my
usual consultant, who agreed. Black Panther is said to be doing very well,
although my friend says he prefers not to read a racially militant comic--
not to mention it didn't 'jump out at him.' The Punisher is in very sad
shape. I don't know which comic he shot himself in, but they're bringing him
back from the dead and lacing the story with heaven/hell themes. Dumb.

Daredevil's never been better-- I hadn't read his title before, except when
it crossed over into Nomad with Punisher: War Journal for the "Dead Man's
Hand" story several years ago. The artwork is nice, too.

It would seem Marvel is holding its own in the battle with DC to me.

a lot of the reason DC makes more money per month on its
books compared to Marvel is that DC has lots of
"Prestige Format books" with higher price tags

that being said.. i've heard a lot of good things about Daredevil
and i'll pick it up eventually, but i'm more interested in locating the
Inhumans comic right now..

Inhumans...hmmm..I've heard that name before, but I can't remember where.
I think it was from one of Julie's "Origins of Marvel Comics" books, but I
can't remember the story and title it was in.

I used to have so many comics including the ones that had the deceased
heroes and the exsisting ones. Then, I needed some money so I had to
*sell them*. <sighs and pouts briefly>

Well from what I've heard (which isn't much) I'd like to pick these books up.
At least Daredevil and the Inhumans (maybe Black Panther).
I've never been much for Quesada and Pamaloti. I never read any of the
Event comics. I do this. Daredevil has to be cool if it was written by Kevin
Smith (aka Silent Bob and the writer/director of Clerks, Mallrats, Chasing
Amy, and the up-coming Dogma films). Not only that, but after he's done with
his story line David Mack (of Kabuki fame) is going to be the writter. I think
his story telling in Kabuki has been fabulous and some of the best stuff I
have ever read.
As for Inhumans, I don't know too much about the writter... all I know is
that Jae Lee is doing the art. I fell in love with Lee's art when he drew a
Chapel story in Youngblood Strikefiles. I loved his dark images and his jagged
edges. His inking abilities were my very most nevy as I was trying to learn
how to ink. His style was very much my inspiration. I followed his work to
WildCats Trilogoy and eventualy to his own comic, Hellshock. I Picked up a
very of his earlier work from Namor, but as we all know I don't care much for
Marvel so I didn't pick up his Spiderman stuff. Hellshock was a good
miniseries but the ongoing series, which only lasted two issue was beautiful
and remains to be one of my favorite books ever.
As for Black Panther, I don't know muchabout the story or what. I do know
that Mark Tex did the art for some of the earlier issues. I've liked his art
from his Ghost Rider days, but never did follow him with such passion.
As for Punisher... I'm sorry, I'll never manage to get myself to even look
at one of his books. Oh well.
Those are my comments for not every reading one of the Marvel Knights
books. What do people that have read them think about them? What are they
doing with the stories and such?

I haven't kept track. I keep seeing this Darkdevil character that looks
almost identical to Daredevil in Spidergirl, and I wonder if there's a
connection. Would someone who does read a few Marvel titles find out
for me?

Daredevil looked VERY good when I was reading it, but I haven't followed
it in mon
