}To expain, Blanc Noir is a new creator owned imprint at Dark Horse Comics
(kind of like Legend) from the people from Gaijin Studios. You may not have
heard of Gaijin Studios, but you have most likely heard of the members. They
are some of the best artists including Dave Johnson, Adam Hughs, Jason
Pearson, Joe Phillips, Brian Stelfreeze, Cully Hammer (and I think I'm missing
somebody else).
Already out is Body Bags from Jason Pearson. This in your face, hard core,
action packed, four issue ride is set Terminus City Georgia sometime after
1998 when OJ blew up a nuclear bomb which he made in prison. There are two
major kinds of people who live in Terminus, crimials and bounty hunters. Our
"heroes" are a father-daughter bounty hunting team and the story starts when
a rival bounty hunter sabotages their headquaters. I absolutely love this
comic. Other than the cover drawn by Micheal Golden, I would give this comic
a easy 9 (out of ten).
Coming out in November is The Heretic by Joe Phillips, co-written by Rich
DiLeonardo, with a back up story of Brian Stelfreeze's Maximum Velocity.
Later, Blanc Noir will also come out with Cully Hammer's Brave, Dave Johnson's
Byte, and Adam Hugh's Invertigo.

Joe Phillips is no longer apart of Gaijin Studios, but is still apart of Blac
Noir. Dave Johnson is strangely missing from Gaijin Studios and Blanc Noir
(I don't know what happened to him). The current list of memebers are... Jason
Pearson, Brain Stelfreeze, Karl Story (who has been there the whole time, but
when I listed the memembers before, I accidently left him out), Joe Phillips
(in Blanc Noir, but not in the studio), Cully Hammer, Adam Hughs. Three guys
who are helping out with the comics are Jason Martin, F Richard DiLeonardo,
and Dexter Vines, but aren't really offical memembers. There are also delays
with shipping of the comics which is being blamed on Dark Horse.

NO both of you are extremely wrong! Reading Heretic #1 editor Meloney Crawford
Chadwick says, "It's not a line of European comics." That means IT'S NOT
FRENCH! It is prounced BLANK. Ask any comic dealer. Ben knows he was writting
that comment just to be smart. Guess what, he wasn't being smart, he was being
a wise ass.

A major set back for the Blanc Noir line of comics at Dark Horse. The line
has been put on hold for a unknown amount of time. All Brave orders have been
canceled.

Jason Pearson's Body Bags will be appearing in a Dark Horse Presents Annual
in September (see more about the annual in item 47). This is a prelude to a
second series set out in '98. The question on my mind, what does this mean
for the other Blanc Noir titles?

Actually it is th french, I have asked Brian Steelfreeze. It is Black & White,
Blanc Noir....Any who Jason Pearson is on The Maverick imprint now and Blanc
noir is dead so I guess this is taps for those great books. Especially the
heretic.
