Sin City will have another special coming out soon. SIN CITY: LOST, LONELY,
& LETHAL will feature three short stories.

okay, fine. You can think that, but you must tell me why you think that,
insted of just saying it sucks. What don't you like about it? It's mature
nature? I find it refreshing in the indestry of stale comics.
Okay, you don't like Sin City, what Legend comics do you like? There is
Monkeyman & O'Brien, Hellboy, Madman Comics, and much more... Do you want to
talk about them?

Mike Allred's art for Untold Tales of Spider-Man '96 may have been the start
of something big: it now looks like Allred will produce a
Spider-Man/Madman crossover miniseries next year (and don't forget that his
Superman/Madman crossover project should debut later this year)...

Hellboy: The Lost Army, a 208-page illustrated novel written by Christopher
Golden and illustrated by Mike Mignola, is on the Dark Horse schedule for
mid-May release...

Sex and Violence (which hit stores on March 21) leaves Frank Miller's new
one-shot black and blue. We all know Frank Millers style of stories in Sin
City. We also meet Blue Eyes in the last one shot, Lost Lonely and Lethal.
This comic feature two stories including a story where we get to see Blue Eyes
go after a used car salesman. One problem, this blue eyed assassin got the
wrong man. Frank miller states, "She's on her first official job, so you've
got to be patient with her; she means well, but she's bound to make some
mistakes. The simplest way I can put it is that Delia is a sex-crazed killing
machine -- a fun story for the whole family."
Next is another one shot called Family Values. Frank also tells us about
another Sin City project, "The next Sin City novel is going to be The Hard
Goodbye. It's a sequel to That Yellow Bastard; it takes place two years later,
and it stars Nancy Callahan and Marv. They make an interesting team."
While on the subject of Sin City, I'd like to ask people what they think
of Sin City. I think it's GREAT ART and good story telling. But one can think
about all the sex and violence in the book. I mean, is this demeaning to women
or just a mature comic? I'm not sure. I don't really think it should be
consitered as a bad girl comic. I mean there is a purpose in the story to the
sex and violence in Sin City unlike many books that have women in bikini's
for no reason in the story. Is the nudity in Sin City too much?

What other cool things are coming out from Legend. There is the forementioned
Sin City one shot. Walter Simonson brings his Star Slammers to the imprint.
Star Slammers will be two story arcs totaling eight issues. Paul Chadwick will
put out another Concrete story. Concrete: Strange Armor is a five issue mini
series starting in May. Along with the Lost Army novel, Mike Mignola will also
do a follow up story from last years Wake of the Devil mini series called
Almost Colossus. Almost Colossus is a two issue mini series with back up
stories of Mostermen by Gary Gianni and Steve Purcell. Along with Madman
crossovers he'll also apear in his own book with issues #12-15 starting in
August. In the mean time Mike Allred will create another book called Red
Rocket 7. RR7 is a seven issue Mini series starting in June. John Byrne's Next
Men will come out with a six issue time travel story... John probley would
like to travel in time because John's so busy this story won't come out for
a long time.
My favorite Legend book is... ah gesh, I don't know. I would have to say
Hellboy, then Sin City, then Madman. What's your favorite Legend book?

Okay , dave, I'll tell you that I like the Legend books which you have so
graciously let me read, although I don't have any myself. From a hentai
perspective I'd say that Sin City has no more nudity than your typical
Japanese anime comic, though american girls tend to be more individualistic
and so it balances out so that women do not seem like sex objects but as
thiinking people. The people who write Vampirella or those other "bad girl
" comics are just deluding themselves when they think they are actually doing
women any favors. Sin City is a breath of fresh air.

On the subject... Frank MillerUs new Sin City project, Family Values, in
the works for July may be a 120-page hardcover rather than as a miniseries...

I kind of like the first two issues of the BIG GUY comic. As bio pointed out
to me, it seems to have a good grasp on how to draw good backgrounds with lots
of detail without looking too much like a Where's Waldo book.

Geof Darrow is a GOD! He draws EVERYTHING. It's like he got the technical
manual for the world. The huge emount of Detail is stagering. He draws on
11.25 by 16 paper just so he can draw every little wire, pebble, facial
expersion, bullet, tree, vending machine, piece of paper falling out of a
briefcase, etc. etc. etc. VERY DETAILED.

October. Martha Washington Saves the World is a three issue miniseries.

Frank
Miller has always pushed .the limits of the line of good stories and what some
people may consiter bad taste. This time around, he goes far beyond that line
with Tales To Offend. In classic EC stylehe continues his Lance Blastoff
stories from DHP.

*Look out for a Sin City 1/2 offer in Wizard #73. 50 of the wizard covers will
be by Frank Miller and there is also a Sin City contest where you can win a
Marv bust.
*This is one of those, "If you love___, then you'll love___." Mike Mignola
is taking a break from Hellboy (one of my favorites) to write Zombieworld.
This just another reason why Mignola considered the best horror writers of
the 90's. This three issue mini-series,illustrated by Pat McEown (from
Grendal: Warchild), is on sale September 10th
*Talking about Hellboy, see an exclusive one page strip of Hellboy as a kid.
*"He's an alien! He's a clone! And he's come to our planet to make totally
cool music!" That's the hype on the new Red Rocket 7, the newest creation from
the Madman himself, Mike Allred (is this guy everywhere?). If you don't want
to wait until August 20th from issue #1, you can see a preview in the
Superman/Madman Hullaboo.

*Universal Films is developing Hellboy into a movie. Producer Larry Gordon
is reported to be linked to the project.
*The one page Hellboy Jr. comic in next Previews is a preveiw to Bill (Big
Blown Baby) and Mike Mignola one-shot coming out this October.
