Juggernaut the Marvel villain, or am I showing my age?

Juggernaut the Marvel sort of Villain. He's definitely evil, but he was
leading a team of heroes in the Malibu universe for a while, but now he's back
in the Marvel Universe helping the X-Men defeat Onslaught, the guy who punched
him from Canada to New Jersey. By definition a Juggernaut is an unstoppable
force...that says something about Onslaught, doesn't it?.....

yow. that's a TALL order since, as Rob implies, he's been around for
AGES. =)

The Juggernaut is Cain Marko, and is Charles Xavier's stepbrother. Way
back when, his frequent partner-in-crime was Black Tom. I believe the
Juggernaut has appeared in such "classic" comics as Marvel Team-Up
(1st series) #150, which was the last issue, as well as Amazing Spider-
Man #223 (number's probably wrong).

NO! Juggernaut may now be dead! Onslaught removed the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak
from the center of Juggernaut's mass! I hope he's not dead and gets him source
of power back.

Here's some info on my fave Marvel character: He's not a mutant. He is
naturally HUGE! He is nearly invulnerable; thanks to the Crimson Gem of
Cyttorak that he found in a temple in Asia while serving time in the army with
his stepbrother, Charles Xavier. His first comic book appearance was Uncanny
X-Men #12 way back in 1964.

Juggernaut Update:
Cain Marko is currently trapped inside the Crimson Gem of Cyttorak..
See X-Men Unlimited #12 for a story about Juggernaut's relationship with the
Gem.

Juggernaut is free and has more control over his power than before.
X-Men Unlimited #12 has him fighting Cyttorak, the god trapped inside the gem,
and he wins, of course.. I liked this comic. It showed some of the reasons
why Cain Marko hates his stepbrother, the now powerless Charles Xavier.

I always like it when Juggernaut was fighting the X-Men and Rogue would absorb
his powers and then kick his big ass into the next county. That always gave
me a smile :)

That because it was written by Chris Claremontnd drawn by Marc Silvestri...
long before ever read comics. Hey, if you like X-Men so much, whnUt you go
into the back issues box at your comic book store and find any written by
Claremont. They were the best X-Men issues ever written.

August's Iron Man #21 begins a 4-part story which
introduces seven villains with connections to Juggernaut,
i know this sounds like a horrible idea, but it will
be written in part by Kurt busiek and Roger Stern (GREAT writers IMO)
and will also involve Spider-Man and Thor which means Juggy is
escaping the X-Titles for at least a few moments.. i, for one, am glad.

The Storyline the previous message talked about is called
"The Eighth Day" and the 7 new villains with ties to Juggernaut
will be characters who are all Cyttorak gem connected.
the Cyttorak gem being what gives Juggy his Unstoppable-ness.
