VOIP/ATA hardware phone that plugs into a router and is used to make internet phone calls over an internet connection. Some of them can be reprogrammed to use with other providers. I am told there are lots of these around unused, left over from when people switched providers.

We were offered two of these, but only one seems to be unlockable so we can still use another for our second location.
