Saw this article on the U-M web site home page re: one of my U-M music composition professors, William Bolcom: http://www.ns.umich.edu/htdocs/releases/story.php?id=1054 "William Bolcom will be honored with the National Medal of Arts..." I always enjoyed Prof. Bolcom - he was always humorous and clever, not stodgy like some others.
