Blue headlights. Some kind of Luxe car, very recent (I first saw this a year
ago, and again recently) with headlights that produce an eerie, blue/purplish
white light like an old mercury vapor streetlight.
Any idea how/why?

There was a concept going around that used one mercury, xenon, etc. discharge
bulb and fiber-optics to carry the light to low profile headlights.

Supposedly it penetrates haze better, I guess.

Hi everyone. I am new on this conf. The car you are refering to is the
Aurora, I believe. The lights are a new Ion something or other, and are the
"new thing" they are better illumination (by 50%) and they also penatrate
fog better, making seperate fog lamps less necissary. They also look real
cool.

I forgot to ask, how do you start a new item in this conf? I have a car to
sell/trade/fix and I need to start a new item... Thanks

At the Ok: prompt, type "e" for "enter" to enter a new item. For cars to
sell, you might be better off in the classified conference.
