new (used) car

We just bought a used 1993 Mercury Tracer LTS. This is an Escort Clone (4
dr sedan, not hatchback) but it is loaded. All power, 4 wheel disks, 5 speed,
and 14" mags with 60 series Goodyears. This is a real surprise car for both
handling and accelleration. It's got the 16 valve engine, too. I'm excited
about it.

Trying out a "new" car has always been fun for me. I remember my first few
drives with my 80 Mazda 626... getting used to the feel of the clutch,
adapting to a standard gear shift (I'd learned and had been driving with
a '63 Chevy truck, with a free gear shift and reverse to the left of 1st),
discovering the things that the previous owner had forgotten to remove...
