Tell me what you think? Mark Unseen   Oct 27 13:56 UTC 1994

What does the word style mean to you, in the gereral sense of art? Can one
define their own individual style, do you have an individual style, or is your
style just how others percieve your work??

"Style" is the way in which we approach the execution of a work. It
emcompasses our artistic influences, our own creative consistencies, and our
preferred methods and tools. Most often, style is developed through one's
"career" rather than designed at the outset. However, elements of one's
style may be consciously chosen for a certain effect.

Style isn't clothing or the results of a work of art...rather it is the
attitude of the individual, the presence they possess and the way they GIVE it
to others.

Style is the attitude through which we project our own self-image into a work.
It is the intangible spirit of our inner self assigned as a signature to that
which we create.
