We have a project to do. We haev to make a model of the earth thats not round
and prove it's that shpape. do any of you have any ideas? and if not have you
ever doubted that the earth was round?

If your definition of "round" is "spherical", your project will
be simple, because the Earth is *not* spherical. It's an
ellipsoid!

I always thought it was an oblate spheroid...

   Make it a cube! Please!

Back when I was a kid, one of my best friends collected Superman
comics of all sorts. I must have read a couple thousand of the DC
flavor over a ten year period or so. One of the neatest concepts
in the Superman world was the "Bizarro" culture, where everything
was skewed. They wern't bad, but they were bizarre. Their
implementation of the Earth was a cube.

Please honor the thought of the Bizarro world and make your
model a cube.

For whatever shape you pick, some promising approaches:
- proof by intimidation
- proof by guilt-inducement
- proof by inability of spherical-Earth advocates to deal with
  problems in their theory
etc.

- proof by reference to authority is also a good one. Does Terry Pratchett
  count as an authority?

You can't prove its any shape because it isn't. Its fractal.

I theorize that the Earth is all shapes, depending upon your dimension of
perspective.

The Earth is flat. When they proved it was round, it was. But after all these
years of spinning it flattened itself out. And we're getting bigger too from
spinning. Thats why we have earthquakes all of the time.

Whatever shape you think it is must be compatible with the shadow of the
earth on the moon, whatever shape you think that is.

The darkness of the moon has nothing to do with shadow...
On the moon they have little bugs that reproduce like mad. And as the month
goes on they keep reproducing and reporoducing, until the end of the month when
the whole moon is covered with them. Then they all die out by self-imploding
from the gravity of the moon getting too close to the earth at the end og the
month. And we start all over again.

#0: You should simply state that your culture tells you that the earth is
in the shape of a pyramid and if the school system tells you otherwise
they are being oppressive and xenophobic. You shouldn't have to prove
    anything.
