Questions about toaster4k/flyer4k

I have been looking at purchasing a toaster/flyer setup, as prices have
dropped to where i can almost afford them... 

I have a few questions, which I was hoping someone could answer:

1. Except for speed, what are the advantages of running the toaster in a 4000
rather than a 2000?

2. Can you use the flyer in a 2000?

3. I have seen other cards for the amiga platform that act as digitizers for
video, and appear to be intended for use in a NLE setup. What are the
differences gonna be between using the flyer and using these other cards?
