I think Arnold will win. He's the perfect candidate for California --
all image, no substance.

and their special interest casino money.

you mean an H2, specifically? I thought he bought one when Hummer had
first released the H1.
(I'm snipping at details-- don't mind me =) )

Actually Arnold had a modified Humvee back before they were being sold as
"Hummers" with luxury appointments.

Re #13: I'm referring to the fact that they elected someone who ran a
totally shallow, image-over-substance campaign. Arnold dodged pretty
much every policy question ever put to him but got elected anyway
because he's a famous actor. Just goes to show that Californians can't
tell Hollywood from reality.

(Yes. It was reported that the elite areas - Hollywood & SF - voted
against the recall. The areas with regular people supported it.)

Notice who finished 9th, ahead of the porn star?
Not one of the media darlings. In fact, somebody you never heard of.
But his name was SCHWARTZMAN, and that was good for more than 10,000
votes from confused Ah-nold voters.

ntoice who finished LOWER the teh porn star - simon, last year's
candidate facing davis. wouldnpt want to be davis OR simon today.....
btw, 60+someitng% of the new-governor's vote was NON-democrat!
and ... (this must suck to the max) MORE people voted to *recall* than
voted *for* davis last november.
THWACK!!!!
forget the percentages on that one - raw numbers (in this case) rule.
