Cookie Exchange

Let's have another cookie exchange this year. I propose Saturday, December
20th, 4PM (tea-time), at my place, which is 711 Duncan Street, Ann Arbor.
A cookie exchange is where everyone bakes a batch of his or her favorite
cookies, then brings them to a meeting of people who have done the same.
Everyone takes home as many cookies as he or she brought, but they will have
a variety.

Hmmm - no one's committed yet, other than me. I'll be making my Mom's
butter cookies, shaped like various animals and inanimals.

(eskarina tells me that I've also committed to being there. I guess
I'll be bringing truffles, mini-peanut-kisses, and maybe some other
varieties, depending on what I can accomplish over the next two
evenings.)

Unfortunately, it's a low-carb diet, so a rice-cake exchange would be
nearly as bad. Maybe a chili cook-off instead. :)
And thanks, Mark, but I'm not quite masochistic enough to place myself
in close proximity to a lot of cookies without allowing myself to eat at
least some of them... and I'm not good at moderation. :) I'm mostly
just whining a bit. As I understand it, whining is an important part of
diets.

I'd commit, but as I'm over 100 miles away with no chance of *not*

We had a nice intimate cookie exchange - carson and eskarina provided
chocolate truffles and Hershey Kisses cookies, and Carol, my roommate Paul,
and I provided butter cookies, milk, and eggnog. We sat around and talked
for a couple of hours. It was a nice time.
