The Studebaker Dictator
|
Nov 26 01:12 UTC 2003 |
I just learned that Studebaker had a model called the Dictator.
They discontinued it in 1937.

Toyota made a van called the Masterace. At least it wasn't VW.

According to www.m-w.com, the term "WASP" for "White Anglo-Saxon
Protestant" originated in 1957. Maybe the Hudson Wasp was discontinued
as a result? I really have no idea.

The Hudson car company was basically out of business by 1957.
(Amazingly, there is still a Hudson dealership in Ypsilanti.)

Re #7: I noticed that. Can you actually go in and buy a (presumably
used) Hudson?

The Ypsi Hudson dealership was used for location shooting in the
movie "Tucker: The Man and His Dreams".
