This year, I'm thankful that both the fiance's and my immigration visa
to Canada came through.

That the last couple of conversations with my mother have been decent,
without her freaking out.

That for the first time in years, I seem to have a plan for what I'll
be doing next year.

That the world has a rich variety of food

I am thankful that I am going to be around next year, and that I have so many
supportive friends, neighbors, and relatives. And that I can eat anything
I want and have someone to cook it for me (and wash the dishes).

Are you planning to move to Canada?

I'm thankful for my health, and the health of my parents. I'm thankful I
have someone to go home to every night.

Re 2> Yes, that's the plan :) And I'm looking forward to going back to
school. Again ;) (This fall didn't pan out because of finances. Things
are looking better for next year)

I am thankful that I have a roof over my head and a warm place to sleep
every night. I am thankful that I have a job that isnt too bad. I am
thankful that I have good friends who love me. I am thankful for my
family. I am thankful that I can do things I enjoy like going to movies
or eating in restaurants. There was a time, albeit long ago, when I
couldnt afford to do those things.

I am thankful that I have GTA Vice City to vent off my not-so-nice
side. Now I don't have toburn any more Sims, I'll just mug tourists.

I'm thankful that when I figured out my career change, all the work I'd done
on the old career paid off many times more than I'd expected.

I'm thankful for my son. If he knew how much he's done for me,
especially over the last two years, I am sure he'd be terrified. Some
day, he will know.

I'm thankful for my parents. My dad is into the dementia of old age,
but he's not completely out of it yet. My mother, who will be 76 in
January, is in good health. They're both there for me.

I'm thankful for my job. Too many people are unemployed. It could be
me, and I don't know what I'd do if it was.

I'm thankful I have learned to live with my anger. It's still there,
but it's not controlling me to the extent it once did.

I'm thankful that, for all of the bad decisions I've made in my life,
I'm really doing pretty well.

I'm thankful to be free, in good health, and with the ability to
provide for all of my needs.

I'm thankful that I'm largely debt free.

I'm thankful that I have food, and a good place to sleep.

I am thankful for nail clippers too.

I am thankful that I am surrounded by love, both new and old. That I have
a circle of friends that love me and support me. That Dave is an amazing
treasure that I could not hold closer in my heart.

I am thankful I am healthy. I made a decision this year that is paying off
in spades and I feel wonderful.

I have a great job! It wears on me from time to time, but for hte most part,
it's grand.

I am thankful to have a warm down quilt, a space heater, and three panes of
glass between me and the tree that was bending in the wind yesterday.

I'm thankful for a wonderful wife, a beautiful daughter who is smart
and is doing very well, and freedom from basic wants. Although I am
not working right at the moment, if things come together, I should
return to the job I got for the holidays very soon.

Happyboy believes that deflating "serious" discussions by entering
trivial responses is a funny thing to do, and will always be a funny
thing to do. That is why I am thankful for happyboy.

For a truly fun time, try doing it to him when you catch him being
serious about something. That is also why I am thankful for happyboy.
