the widening arc of a glowing past
unfolds in the crisp evening air,
as the night creatures call out upon evenings dim
dancers millions of years old
skate into view
and the stagelights blinked eons ago

Nope, missed this year's Worldcon. It conflicted with a family
member's illness and death. But we weren't planning to go anyway.
