the edict
|
Aug 19 21:39 UTC 1995 |
know all men by their Zippers:
We declare here, that Thanne, who is a Kind, Tender,
and Extremely Nasty When She Wants To Be (in the finest
Humdogian sense of the Word) shall be liberated from
the Owies, which Owies have displeased the Throne. these
Owies shalt Banish themselves away from Thanne, shall
not contact her in any way, and shall not, in the Future,
appear, on pain of contact with the Alchemist.
we have writ it.
so shall it be.

I really like the part about the owies. The zipper part, though, seemed
to be a nonprequitur (as it were), and I didn't see how it fit in to the
edict.

I think the zipper part was just a teaser. Besides, everyone knows
zippers were originally invited for the theatrical market.

Uh, "the river is busted"? is this just the dry season, a temporary
draught, or a permament climatic change?

Power failure; bad phone box; problem solved. The River flows again.
(And Thanne is off to Sweden. A few weeks of no typing at all.)

I have a question.
How can I find the top 30 confernces
based on visits,
on grex for August 22-29?
is there a census program or log?

Uh oh. She's getting ready to blow again; don't tell her ANYTHING! We'll
be left with nothing more than a wafting shower of shredded bellows
paper and the odd twisted plastic keyboard remnant. Beware the curiosity
of brenner!

As of today, the only program that visits conferences is Picospan,
so the only logging that could have been would have been by that program.
"Visit" must be defined properly.
To the best of my knowledge, it does not log this kind of information, but
Brenner's question is truly a question for Marcus. Marcus?
Nice accordion destruction image, but probably in vain, as we aren't
afraid of Brenner's curiosity.
